Rounding the top three for the 250 class was Jo Shimoda winning the first moto, Justin Cooper taking the second moto win, and Hunter Lawerence staying one overall position ahead of his brother Jett Lawerence. While in the 450 class Chase Sexton stole the red plate from Eli Tomac and Jason Anderson got his second third place finish in a row.

Now onto the good stuff! This track was absolutely beautiful and the fans were their typical selves! In the weeks past I’ve had a little struggle getting used to the track in the first practices and I don’t usually find my groove until the first race begins but there was something about this week. First couple of pictures turned out amazing and that just set the mood for the rest of the day.

After the first practices of the day I had a good amount of photos that I knew were already keepers. But right as I was editing I get the text I had to trek a mile to get to the Monster Energy Trailer. Getting to the trailer out of breath from running over there I settled down talked with the girls and we got shooting! To see full shoot of the girls click here

After the shoot with the amazing ladies the races finally began. Hardest part has to be making sure batteries don’t die! Photos were turning out great so I was pumped which really fueled the shutter to just keep on goin.

Got to get the must have shots and then got to work around and mess with some more panning shots. Getting those at 1/60th of a second with the rider and bike going all sorts of different directions really makes it a challenge but I am glad I’m getting better each week. And as always got covered in champagne but hey gotta get the shot.

Over all photographing this week felt so amazing. We took a three week break from racing so I was able to go home, see family, friends, and just relax. But being back on the track with my camera felt super refreshing. Looking forward to Budds Creek on Saturday!
